ex: null (Nothing) except when an error occured in the handling of the request.

tag: null (Nothing) or an object passed from the request call. The application can pass an object with any kind of information from the request module to the completion handler.

The daGeneralNotification handler is called when an error happens and the user did not pass a specific completion notification handler.
