Name Description

TestClient
OPC DA V2 Test Client.

TestClient3 OPC DA V3 Test Client

DAESimServer OPC DA V2/V3 simulation server.
This server is registered as Advosol.SimDAServer.1 during the setup. Make sure that Servers are checked in the setup selection for this OPC server to be installed and registered.
The server defines a number of items in a hierarchical tree structure. The items in the branches SimulatedData and Dynamic periodically change. In Dynamic there are also changing item s with array values.

ItemListBuilder The ItemListBuilder Windows application creates XML files with item definition lists. OPCDA.NET contains the ItemListLoader helper class that loads the items defined in a list into an OPCItemDef array that can be used in the AddItems server call.
The ItemListBuilder application can also be used to browse the server to search for items. The fully qualified item id of the selected item can be copied to the clipboard for simple pasting into the application code.

OpcSecurityAnalizer Analyses the Windows/DCOM security permission settings and hints to possible causes of access problems.
